Dawnellehome welcomes children of all abilities. Kids with special needs can participate in all excursions and workshops with the help of an allocated support worker.
Support Details:
Cost: $60 per hour + travel costs + ticket fees.
Funding: NDIS funds can be used for this support.

Booking a place at Dawnellehome’s workshops or excursions is quick and simple. To ensure the best experience for every child, we first ask parents to give us a call so we can answer a few important questions. After that, we’ll provide you with several convenient payment options. Once you’ve sent us your bank payment receipt via WhatsApp, your booking will be confirmed.

We’re just a short stroll from Mitcham Station and the Whitehorse Road shopping strip. There are plenty of convenient parking bays nearby the studio, so you’ll always find a spot close to the door.
Drop-off is between 8:45 AM - 9:00 AM at Dawnellehome studio in Mitcham, and pick-up is at 5:00 PM for full-day programs.
Please aim to arrive on time (especially on excursion days) so we can stay on schedule.
If you need earlier drop-off or later pick-up, please discuss this during your consultation call.
Your child only needs to bring a water bottle, hat for outdoor activities, and comfortable clothes that can get messy during arts and crafts. We provide all art supplies, materials, healthy snacks, and equipment for excursions. Please label all personal items with your child's name.
We take all dietary requirements seriously and discuss these thoroughly during your booking consultation. We provide alternative snacks for children with allergies and work with families to ensure all dietary needs are met safely. Our staff are trained in allergy management and emergency procedures.
Our excursions are carefully planned with age-appropriate activities. During booking, we'll recommend the best program combination based on your child's age and interests.

Yes. You can book individual days that suit your schedule, but we recommend booking early as our small group spots fill up very quickly.
Yes. The daily fee covers everything including entry tickets, public transport costs, materials, and food. There are no hidden extra costs.
