Interactive songs and musical activities naturally boost language development in preschoolers. Through singing, rhyming, and musical storytelling, children expand their vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and develop listening skills. These early musical experiences create lasting benefits, with research showing that children who participate in music classes often demonstrate stronger communication skills and enhanced verbal abilities throughout their development.
Creative movement and percussion play are essential components of our preschool music classes. Dancing, clapping, marching, and playing instruments help develop both gross and fine motor skills. Children improve their coordination, balance, and spatial awareness while having fun with music. These physical activities also help channel energy positively and build body awareness that supports overall physical development.
Music classes provide a wonderful platform for preschoolers to express themselves creatively and build self-confidence. Through singing, dancing, and playing instruments, children discover their unique voice and develop the courage to participate actively in group activities. The supportive environment at Dawnellehome classes encourages creative expression while celebrating each child's individual musical journey and personality.
Our group music classes create natural opportunities for preschoolers to interact, share, and collaborate with peers. Children learn to take turns with instruments, participate in group songs, and work together in musical activities. These experiences help build empathy, cooperation skills, and lasting friendships in a joyful, music-filled environment.
Music education stimulates creative thinking and imagination in preschoolers. Through musical games, improvisation, and creative movement, children learn to think outside the box and express their ideas in unique ways. This creative foundation supports problem-solving skills and innovative thinking that benefits all areas of learning and development.
At Dawnellehome, we celebrate cultural diversity through music, exposing preschoolers to songs and rhythms from various cultures including traditional Australian, Iranian, and international music. This cultural exploration helps children develop appreciation for diversity and connects to our special seasonal celebrations including Iranian ceremonies like Charshanbe Soori and Norouz, alongside Christmas and Easter festivities.

Our preschool music classes are filled with engaging, interactive songs that capture children's imagination and encourage participation. Each 45-minute session includes action songs, musical storytelling, and sing-along activities designed specifically for 3-5 year olds.
Preschoolers love making music with their hands! Our classes feature extensive percussion play using child-safe instruments like drums, shakers, bells, and rhythm sticks. Children learn basic rhythms, explore different sounds, and create their own musical patterns. This hands-on approach makes learning tangible and fun while developing musical skills and coordination.
Movement is an essential part of our preschool music program. Children dance freely to music, learn simple choreography, and express themselves through creative movement. We use scarves, ribbons, and other props to enhance the movement experience. These activities help develop gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and physical confidence while making music a whole-body experience.
Beyond percussion, preschoolers get to explore various musical instruments including keyboards, simple stringed instruments, and wind instruments. This exposure helps children discover their musical interests and provides a foundation for future instrumental learning. We also stock quality musical instruments and sensory items for families wanting to continue the musical journey at home.

Dawnellehome’s Preschooler Music Class has been a wonderful experience for our four‑year‑old, Liam. He looks forward to his music days, where he learns songs, dances, and even tries simple melodies on the xylophone. The small class sizes mean he gets plenty of one‑on‑one encouragement, and I love seeing him beam with pride when he masters a new rhythm. It’s given him a real sense of achievement—and a deeper love for music that we enjoy at home, too!

Our preschool music classes are specifically designed for children aged 3-5 years. We create developmentally appropriate activities that match preschoolers' growing attention spans, physical abilities, and love for interactive learning through music, movement, and creative play.
Our classes feature interactive songs, percussion play with child-safe instruments, creative movement and dance, musical storytelling, and instrument exploration. Each activity is designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, nurturing language development, coordination, and confidence through music.
Our preschool music classes are designed as independent learning experiences for children aged 3-5. This helps build independence and confidence while allowing preschoolers to develop their own relationships with teachers and peers in our supportive group environment. Although, we give the flexibility for parents to stay if they prefer.
Our preschool music classes run for 45 minutes, which is ideal for preschoolers' attention spans and allows time for a variety of engaging activities including interactive songs, percussion play, creative movement, and instrument exploration.

Absolutely! We welcome all children and our experienced teachers are skilled in adapting activities to meet diverse learning needs. We believe every child can benefit from music education, and we work closely with families to ensure all preschoolers can participate fully and enjoy our interactive musical experiences.
We maintain small class sizes with a maximum of 10 preschoolers per class. This allows for individual attention while providing enough peer interaction to create a dynamic, supportive group environment where friendships can flourish through shared musical experiences.
Yes! We organize fun showcase opportunities throughout the year, including our special seasonal celebrations featuring Christmas, Easter, and cultural festivals like Iranian Norouz and Charshanbe Soori. These events celebrate children's musical journey and provide opportunities for creative expression. Please note that registration for these special events is separate from regular class enrollment.
Our preschool music curriculum is designed to build skills naturally through interactive play and exploration. Children start with basic concepts like rhythm and melody, then advance to more complex activities involving creative expression and instrument techniques. This gentle progression ensures continuous learning while maintaining the joy and fun of musical discovery.
